ww first week

It's never fair that women lose weight slower than men.  Frustrating, but it's nice that Jeff is doing the program with me.  Yes, he lost TEN pounds.  Ten.  Wow.  I lost 5.2 lbs.  And yes, that 0.2 lbs is very important!  My goal weight is 142 lbs (for Weight Watchers) but I want to be around 135 lbs ultimately and run the half marathon this April.  I went running last night and did 3 miles.  Not too bad!  I did have to walk some because I was doing more of a sprint training than just a normal 10 minute/mile jog.  I always feel SO great after a run and do believe the study about running and comparing it to the effects of an SSRI.  Running is my prozac!    I have 12 lbs to hit WW goal.  Not too bad, huh?  If I were a man, I would reach that goal in two weeks; however I bet it's going to be 2 months (or more?) for me!

I have to say having your husband do the diet with you makes ALL the difference.  He's great willpower and reminds me to count everything.
