friday ramblings...

Well it's back to work for me - at least a more normal working experience than the every other weekend schedule. I now work Tuesdays and Fridays along with every other weekend. This in itself is enough to cause me to forget what day it is! I thought today was Saturday, but nope... it's just Friday. At least with this job I can feel safe knowing my baby is downstairs with either my husband, my mother, or a nanny. It's a nice feeling though I would rather not work at all! Pharmacists make good money, and it's money I'm missing.

So now that it is finally August 1st, it's time to set some goals for the second half of the year.
  1. Lose the rest of the baby weight. It's a tough one though perhaps with the hormones of nursing, I'm not sure. I have 8 lbs to go to be what I weighed prior to getting pregnant. BUT, for some reason I think things have moved around a bit and it'll take another 10 or so to fit in my clothes... just my thought.
  2. Run the 5K on Labor Day. This one is hard too. My back is acting up and I bet it has to do with #1 and carrying around a 14 lb baby.
  3. Gym Routine - I'm a member of a gym and need to utilize it at least 3-4 times per week. I need to be incorporating my weight workout back in... and use their nursery!

Yep... all goals about my figure, once again.
