
running on empty
Wow, I am out of shape. Who would have thought that a true 18 month hiatus from running seriously would cause my body to change? That, coupled with pregnancy, and I have a long road ahead to get where I was back a few years ago. I went to the gym this evening and pounded out almost three miles. I did half of it on an elliptical and the rest running a ten minute mile while listening to Counting Crows. I've definitely missed my love affair with running, especially processing things while I run. It's nice to get back in the routine. I really want to run the half marathon in April. I ran the full nine years ago this year. Amazing how time flies. I'm not really interested in doing the full right now, but the half would be doable. I think?
