sunday reflections

Well my paid account expired. I have to repay I guess... So anyway, JL's mom has been fighting cancer now for a long time. I have only known JL for two years, and the first part of that time, she was cancer-free. All of a sudden, she has felt a lump in her sternum area. She's beat breast cancer (lumpectomy years and years ago). She's beat lung cancer (lung removed - former smoker). Now due to the treatment, radiation specifically, that she had for the cancer, she is now fighting osteosarcoma. She's been in Houston, TX at MD Anderson for high dose chemo treatment. I believe she told me that it's working. I hope it is... for all their sakes. They are such a small family. JL is in Atlanta tonight... well at least until either Thursday evening or Friday morning. I always sleep worse when he's away. It seems like today was a good day though. I got a lot accomplished. Gardening mostly... flowers, etc...
