I cannot believe that this was taken 17 years ago.  It doesn't seem possible that I pledged Zeta Tau Alpha at UT Martin so many years ago!  I really wish I had been into photography then because I really missed out on a lot of pictures and memories to save.  Thanks to my sorority sister that sent it to me.

I chose UT Martin due to the size and distance from home.  It turned out to be a great decision for me in the long-run.  Recently several of my pledge sisters got together for a reunion that I had to miss due to the baby AND work.  I will definitely have to make the next one.

I remember leaving home at 18 years of age for college.  I was SO excited and was literally counting down the days.  I've always been the independent type, but when I finally left, I lost it.  I remember my parents driving me there to move me in and eating lunch together afterwards.  I remember them pulling away in their vehicle and me just crying.  I was growing up.  I was grown.  I was an adult.
